The Landscape of Leaves

This project originated in relation to a collective exhibition called “Visions and Culture of the Landscape” curated by Juan García Sandoval. The concept of time, the representation of its ephemeral character and its relationship with the cycles of nature, give shape to this audiovisual project. It has been built from sixty fixed black-and-white images, where it is documented the process of the leaves’ decay – from a Bahuinia Variegata tree – grown in the artist’s house.
